Product worked just fine. Hint - take a picture of where the components and wiring are before disassembly.

After less then a year of average home use on this new Cen-Teck vacuum handle, it broke. The housing is made of approx. 1/16" thick plastic and fractured at its most obvious point of stress i.e., where the handle intersects the housing body at the switch. Because I couldn't find just the grip handle housing for replacement, I had to purchase this kit which includes a switch and metal attachment tube that I can't use and will be trashed. Such a waste. The replacement handle is made of the same low grade thin plastic as the original, so I'm going to add some reinforcing surface material over the weak area or I'll have to order another one in a year when it breaks again.

The person was very helpful and correctly sent out the right parts. My comment and disappointment is with the quality of the handle. The construction is not to the same quality as the rest of the unit, which is great. This is the second handle that I have replaced as it is fairly flimsy plastic. Also, the refitting of the parts is not as easy as it should be and not as easy as other units I have previously repaired.
