A five gallon heavy duty high density polyethylene pail with ratcheting threaded lid capable of holding up to 80 pounds of ice melt or rock salt along with the necessary scoop to fill the shaker pail that permits uniform spreading of the ice melt material.
A wall hanging hook and under bin support will comfortably support uo to 100 pounds of material and allows the unit to be mounted to a wall with the lid postioned so it can be openned without lifting the pail from the wall.
The pail lid has a ratchet release system which makes it a kid amd pet friendly. Keeps the ice melt material off the floor, out of messy bags, in a storage bucket which protects the material from moisture or contamination. The sealed container even permits the unit to be hung outside for easy access.
A convienitent hand scoop allows you to load material into the shake and thaw pail for controlled and uniform distribution of the melt material.
In the spring and summer this same solution can be double duty used to store and distribute grass seed, fertilizers, or grub killer safely out of reach of children or pets and protected from moisture and contamination.
