Why does the Quick Click separator have a baffle when other brands do not?
The cyclonic separation and smoothed air path carries the debris against the wall of the separator until it passes below the baffle plate. Once there the air quiets so more of the very fine particulate falls from the air stream. The clean return air to the vacuum has to pass around the baffle plate further restricting debris traveling to the vacuum. Other separators lacking this baffle capture fine debris suspended in the air and carry it back to the vacuum unimpeded.
