The 93840 is a three piece Sidewinder tool solution including a 1.5” telescopic straight wand, a 18” natural fill floor brush, and a 18” carpet tool intended for use with commercial backpack, dry canister, and wet-dry vacuums including home shop vacuums equipped with 1.5” inner diameter hose terminating at the working end of the hose with a 1.5” hose cuff with 1.5” female fit slip end. Intended for dry use.

Features and Benefits

• The Sidewinder solution presents the tools in a vertical plane relative to the user rather than the traditional commercial push pull tools which present the tool in the horizontal plane. The user is encouraged to stand erect and move the tool in an arc which more than doubles the surface area cleaned in a pass, greatly improving productivity. Moving the tool in this mopping motion is best accomplished by standing erect and using body rotation. The result is increased productivity and a reduction in the repetitive movement associated with traditional push and pull vacuuming.
• The horizontal presentation of both the carpet tool and the floor brush results in the width of the tool being less than 1.5”. This narrow presentation results in superior detailing as the tool slides into spaces a traditional 14” wide tool cannot. This presentation makes Sidewinders the ideal tool for cleaning baseboards, stairs, and narrow channels at an elevator or on escalators.
• Sidewinders are ideal for cleaning return air vents on walls or ceilings. Light fixtures. Textured walls in clean room applications.
• The twist lock telescopic wand extends from a fully collapsed length of 45” to an extended length of 60”. The twist lock design allows the wand to be custom fit for user comfort. The upper section of the wand is designed to fit male into an industry standard 1.5” slip hose end.
• The 18” natural fill Sidewinder floor nozzle is suitable for all hard floor surfaces including stone, tile, hardwood, vinyl, concrete, and laminate. The fill will not splay or collapse under high vacuum ensuring years of reliable service. The tool can be used on both walls and floors with equal effect.
• The neck of the natural fill floor brush pivots in two directions. Forward and backward relative to the user. The pivoting motion allows the tool to sit parallel to the floor or vertical wall surface to optimize cleaning. Natural fills are ideal for surfaces like hardwood or polished stone that are best served with a softer brush.
• The 18” carpet Sidewinder is suitable for all carpeted surfaces, walk off mats, and entry mats. It can be used in transition areas where a mix of carpet and hard floor is present saving time and steps changing tools.
• The 18” carpet tool shares the narrow width of the floor brush and the two direction pivoting neck. The low profile allows the tool to slide under power cords and similar cables one might encounter in an office environment saving bending to clean.
