Overview:

Cen-Tec Reach 1.50" elevated cleaning solution for cleaning both horizontal and vertical surfaces up to 22 feet while standing safely on the ground. The solution is comprised of three ratchet telescopic extension wands complimented with four adapter wands to position the cleaning nozzles at the optimum angle for effective touch cleaning. A full compliment of cleaning nozzles for horizontal and vertical surfaces. Round ventilation duct and pipe cleaning. Targeted spot cleaning.  From the base wand to the cleaning nozzles everything locks in place protecting the user from unintended separation. Suitable for use with commercial backpack vacuums, commercial dry vacuums, commercial wet-dry vacuums, and home shop vacuums equipped with a hose end with a 1.50" inner diameter.

Features and Benefits:

• The 1.50" solution includes three telescopic locking wands. A base wand designed to fit male into a hose end with 1.50" inner diameter and two upper wands each designed to lock one into another and extend when in use to over 18 feet.
• Four adapter wands are designed to lock to the last end of the upper wand further extending the reach system.
• An 18" straight locking wand is ideal for working the nozzles directly overhead.
• A 45 degree wand 24" angles the Sidewinder nozzle to vertical walls for cleaning return air vents, window frames, and cleaning textured or painted walls.
• A 130 degree curved wand allows the Sidewinder tools to clean elevated horizontal surfaces.
• A 90 degree wand fitted with the 14" brush cleans elevated horizontal surfaces like square ventilation duct with limited overhead space.
• Three curved brushes double pivot to clean pipe, cable bundles, and round ventilation duct in diameters from 5" up to six feet. The patented double pivoting head allows the tool to travel up and over round duct while standing parallel to the outside of the duct from the floor.
• Pivoting 8" natural fill Sidewinder tool is ideal for elevated return air vents.
• Pivoting 18" nylon Sidewinder tool has a more aggressive brush fill to help release debris adhering to the surface.
• A 3" dusting tool and 15" paddle crevice are included for pinpoint cleaning needs.

Commonly Asked Questions:

What vacuum performance is suggested for use with this Reach kit?

Ideally the vacuum will provide a minimum of 90 inches of water lift and 120 CFM (cubic feet per minute). In elevated cleaning the debris profile is typically light material and air flow is the more important value. High airflow home shop vacuums can compensate for lower water lift performance in most cases.

Do I need a second person to safely use this Reach solution?

No. Even with the heaviest of the cleaning nozzles the 18" Sidewinder the weight of the system is less than 10 pounds. You will also benefit from a contact point where the cleaning nozzle meets the cleaning surface providing balance and support to much of the weight that is present.

Is there a risk of a wand or tool separating from the system during use and falling on me, the floor, or production equipment?

No. When properly used each of the wand sections and tools lock in place preventing unintended separation. The wand sections use a button lock system. The nozzles are connected using ABS compression collars which lock the tool to any of the selected four adapter wands.

Compatibility:

Compatible with commercial backpack vacuums, commercial dry and wet-dry vacuums, dust collection vacuums, and home shop vacuums equipped with a hose terminating with a 1.50" inner diameter hose end.
