Overview:

A hard floor cleaning kit designed for use with all types of Hide-A-Hose installations including both socked and hoses without socks. The 18" Sidewinder natural fill floor brush allows for cleaning of hard floor surfaces up to four (4) times faster compared to cleaning with the typical 12" floor brush. Including two wands, a fixed length lower wand and telescopic upper wand allows the user to adjust the length for comfortable use. The upper wand fits directly to the hose end without the need for a handle making it easy to store and quick to use.

• The 18" Sidewinder brush is untraditional is design and use. Most are familiar with traditional cleaning nozzles where the width of the brush faces forward and push and pull the nozzle as you vacuum. With the Sidewinder the width of the brush faces to either side of you with the narrow part of the brush facing away and to you. Vertical instead of horizontal.
• The vacuuming motion with the Sidewinder is a mopping motion moving the nozzle through and arc in front of you and two both sides. This increases the surface covered in a single pass by 4 times what is achieved with a traditional push pull nozzle.
• You stand erect with the wands extended to your shoulder with the hose connected and best to move the tool using body rotation. Standing erect and using body rotation you avoid the stress on forearms and wrists common when using traditional tools.
• With the narrow width of the brush pointing away you will realize it is much easier to access and clean spaces traditional nozzles can't reach. Around chair legs, under the piano, coffee table, and along side a cabinet set near the wall.
• The pivoting head makes it ideal to lift off the floor to clean return air vents or along where the ceiling meets the wall.
• Cleaning the edge close to the base boards is superior to traditional tools. It lines up parallel to the wall with the power of the vacuum directly over the nozzle.

Is the Sidewinder safe for use on my hard wood floors?

Yes. The Sidewinder natural fill is safe for use on hardwood, tile, stone, granite, laminate, vinyl, and polished stone.

Why do I want the wand to be so long?

The longer wand permits the hose to stay up and out of the way. It makes it easier to use the mopping motion and body rotation to move the tool avoiding stress to wrists and fore arms.

How does it fit to my Hide-A-Hose?

The upper wand has a nylon collar that will press on to the hose and hold secure. No need for a handle. This allows you to pull the Sidewinder assembly directly much like you would a broom from the closet connect to the hose and immediately vacuum. Ideal for quick clean up around the kitchen table.
