Overview:

This hose is made of a two material construction featuring standard material with a conductive strip running on either side of the profile corrugations. To provide a path to ground contact with the strips of conductive material on the vertical wall of the hose corrugation is necessary to realize the conductive properties. 

Note:  We recommend purchasing dissipative hose ends 66864 or 43171 which will insure contact with the dissipative strips and provide a smooth surface contact point facilitating grounding. 

Features and Benefits:

• Resistivity of 1 foot of hose <10 to the 8th ohm. Resistivity is realized by providing a path from the conductive strips on the side walls of the hose corrugation to a point of ground. 
• Hot formed with no welds or glue. The two material hose construction provides superior flexibility, abrasion resistance, and hose life. 
• The unique omega shaped hot formed production method yields a smooth interior for optimized air flow and resistance to clogging. 
• Electro-Static Dissipative (ESD references a two material hose construction. Critical flex points are a proprietary PE / EVA blend. The electro-static properties are delivered by the conductive strips of material running both side of the hose corrugation.

Compatible with the 66864 and 43171 swivel nose conductive threaded cuffs that provide contact with the conductive strips on the hose and a smooth interior surface facilitating a path to ground.
