The male end of this converter fits any 1.25 inch (32 mm) or 1.375 inch (35 mm) nozzle or accessory, while the female end accepts any wand between the sizes of 1.18 inch (30 mm) to 1.46 inch (37 mm). 

The 59666 is a 4.5 inch black plastic universal joint designed to fit male into industry standard 1.25 inch (32 mm) hose cuffs like the 35095. 

The 59666 has a treaded collar which threads on to an internal stem with four compression fingers. As the collar is tightened the four fingers compress to lock the adapter firmly onto the male end of vacuum wands or hose ends from 1.25 inch (32 mm) to 1.375 inch (35 mm) as well as any diameter between the two.

The most common domestic vacuum wand diameter in North America is 1.25 inch (32 mm). Products produced in Europe for the domestic vacuum market are most often 1.375 inch (35 mm).
