Description

Overview:

Quick Click 1.50" dissipative hose end with swivel nose measuring 1.50" on the inner diameter on the slip end. Designed to thread onto a 1.50" inner diameter ( approximately 2.00" outer diameter ) spiral wound vacuum hose. The nose of the hose cuff is designed to swivel 360 degrees accepting a 1.50" outer diameter male end.

Features and benefits:

  • 1.50" inner diameter female slip end swivels 360 degrees to reduce strain on wrist, forearms, and hose kinking.
  • Threads onto the external threads of a 1.50" inner diameter crush proof dissipative hose. Hose will have an outer diameter of approximately 2.00".
  • Cuff conductivity measures 10 to the 8th ohms resistivity.
  • Molded in a base PVC material with conductive additive.
  • Overall length 4.00".
  • Made in the USA.

Frequently asked questions:

How do I confirm this hose cuff will fit my hose?

First confirm the hose you have is spiral would. You can do this my placing your finger on the crown of the hose pitch and trace around the hose. If your finger spirals down the hose you have confirmed it to be a spiral wound hose.  Second confirm the inner diameter of your hose measures approximately 1.50" across the diameter. A 1.50" inner diameter hose will have an approximate outer diameter of 2.00' due to the wall thickness of the hose budy.

How do I confirm it will fit the mating part one installed on the hose?

The inner diameter of the slip end ( swivel end ) of the hose cuff measures 1.50" . This is designed to accept 1.50" male ends on items like the vacuums wand, an accessory like a crevice tool, or a work station male connection.

What does it mean when you say the cuff is dissipative?

The hose end is molded in a material which will allow a static charge to move across the part seeking a point of ground. In the case of the cuff this property is 10 to the 8th ohms resistivity which is a measurement of how conductive the part is in application. In use the purpose of a dissipative hose end is to carry this property from a dissipative hose offering a slip female end for easier connection.

Compatibility:

Compatible with Cen-Tec Systems dissipative spiral would vacuum hoses 67612, 67546, 60748. Flexaust 1.50" inner diameter Stat Path. To connect to dust collection vacuums like Fein, Starmix, Bosch, Festool, and Mirka that are equipped to provide a path to ground add the 69856 adaptor used male into the hose end.
