I was initially hesitant to try this bag. The bags from the original manufacturer are very expensive. I based my initial purchase on other reviews (which typically I take with a grain of salt). Well I am glad I did for once. This bags fits the 16 gallon Ridgid Vac perfectly. Time will tell durability. I'll update if my initial assessment findings do not hold up. My recommendation - BUY THEM and save a ton of money.

I have purchased this same product in the past from other vendors. Cen-Tec offers faster shipping and an overall better experience, as well as a good price, so I'll be reordering with Cen-Tec when I need more bags. These bags are the genuine Green Klean brand. The bags are constructed of a very fine media which pre-filters fine dust and dirt, keeping the vacuum filter clean. To put this in perspective, I began using these bags when I purchased my Ridgid WD1450 vac in 2011. The WD1450 came with a fine mesh filter (blue). We are in 2016, which is five years later and my Ridgid WD1450 is still using the very same fine mesh filter that came with the vacuum. I have not needed to replace the vacuum filter, because these Green Klean brand vacuum bags pre-filter the dust and dirt so well. I have used these to vacuum drywall dust, dust from diamond grinding concrete, sawdust, etc., and they do a great job. With very, very fine dusts, some dust does get past the vacuum bag, but not much. Most of the dust stays in the bag. And with a fine or, even, a HEPA filter on the vacuum, the little bit of very, very fine dust that gets past the bag will be trapped inside the vacuum canister. Some people I know do not use the vacuum bags in their shop vacuum. Me, I wonder why? Considering how affordable Cen-Tec sells these bags and how effective they are with managing fine dust and dirt, I cannot foresee going without them. My Ridgid WD1450, after five years of regular use with Green Klean brand vacuum bags, works as well as the day I purchased it. I believe this continued performance, in part, has something to do with using these bags. Who else do you know with a shop vac that can make that claim? I purchased four boxes, which is 40 bags, to get the free shipping. If you have a Ridgid WD1450 or one of these other Ridgid shop vacs (WD1270,1680,1850,18510,1950 and 1956), I recommend buying four boxes with free shipping. I cannot see anyone being disappointed.
