The 60083 is designed to fit male into a standard 1.5" slip hose end and addresses home shop vacuums with a 2.63" tank opening by fitting male into these opening.
To determine if this item is appropriate for your home shop vacuum place a tape measurer or ruler up to the opening on your vacuum. Measuring across the diameter you will look to confirm an opening measuring approximately 2.63" across the diameter.
The 60083 has a draft growing modestly larger as one moves from the lead edge to the shoulder of the part.
