Overview:

A 1.50" X 15" scalloped felt Sidewinder tool with Reach compression coupling allowing it to be securely connected to the Reach adaptor wands eliminating any risk of unintended separation. The tool is designed to capture dry wall and plaster dust from walls and ceilings using a vacuum in advance of painting. Use of a vacuum reduces air borne particulate protecting contractors from harmful dust. 

Features and benefits:

• A scalloped felt blade is static neutral allowing the tool to capture dry wall and plaster dust which often carries a stat8ic charge which resists collection with traditional brushes and  micro-fiber mopping. 
• The pivoting neck of the Sidewinder allows the tool to track the wall and remain tight to the surface increasing the effectiveness of recovery of the dust using a vacuum. 
• The Sidewinder felt blade is .350" thick supporting the tool under high vacuum. The blade will help to release plaster and taping compound which might be present on the wall or ceiling surface as the contractor moves the tool across the surface. 
• Unlike traditional vacuum brushes the Sidewinder presents on a vertical plane allowing the tool to move laterally across the surface of the ceiling or wall in a mopping motion rather than a traditional push pull dramatically increasing the speed at which the surface is covered. 
• Equally effective on both ceilings and horizontal walls. 
• The Sidewinder can be turned on the horizontal plane permitting the tool to effectively clean where the wall meets the ceiling and down corners on horizontal walls where heavy dust can accumulate during sanding. 
• Using a vacuum with a felt tool reduces the time lost shaking our the traditional mop or micro-fiber pad and reduces harmful exposure to fine dust. 
• Using a vacuum to capture the dust reduces airborne particulate and reduces time cleaning up the floor that can result from traditional dust mopping to clean walls. 
• The scalloped felt insures air flow with the tool flat to the ceiling or wall surface to carry the dust to the vacuum. 

Compatibility:

The 90524 is designed for use with all four of the Reach adaptor wands with ABS compression collars. Typically the 68591 18" straight adaptor would be used for ceilings and the 68602 45 degree for horizontal walls. Reach systems like the 60521 allows the contractor to vacuum walls and ceiling up to 24 feet standing safely on the floor. The felt Reach tool is suitable for use on all of the Reach cleaning solutions inclusive of the adaptor wands.
