The bad news is that one of our 2 Cen-Tec hoses failed in less than 6 months of fairly light use. The good news is that it was the switch that failed and not the wiring in the hose. I contacted Cen-Tec and they sent me a replacement switch at no charge. I decided to buy a couple of spare switches since they are so cheap. Since I was buying other things the shipping was basically free and it's nice to have them around if I get another failure. Customer service was awesome so I'm planning on shopping here for vacuum supplies instead of Amazon from now on. Only 4 stars since the original switch in the house failed. This review site is a nightmare since you have to enter everything on a one line text box so please excuse my typos:-)
